		<description>Thanks for your comment Gayle. Most animals have a way of hiding their pain or illness, which is unfortunate, because we would get them help a lot sooner. Apparently, this is their natural instinct - to hide their suffering - lest they be easy an easy target for a predator. We humans do that too so that we don't look weak. But successful people are always surrounded by a good support system. . . . something to think about.</description>

		<description>I still miss my cockatiels, especially Fred.  When he became very grumpy I knew it was time to let him go.  The vet said he probably had cancer.  I've heard the Australians think it's amusing we keep them as pets, but they do make great ones.  Thanks for sharing that quote.  I had never heard it, and it is really true.</description>
